So curious what is everyone's favorite production pot call, brand and surface?

I have a Zink and it works fine but if I needed to replace it I would get a Kaiser

I have killed a bunch of turkeys with a Knight & Hale Stranglehold. Nothing fancy but the birds like it. I use it with a hickory striker and also a striker with a wire tip that gets extra rasp. I'm a fan of cheap stuff that works.

Like the looks of the kaiser calls. Also like that they are made here in Indiana. Now just have to decide if I'd want a slate or metal surface.

I'm going to do the same...it's probably just the current state of things but I've thought more about turkeys this year than anytime in the past. I normally go out with no calls and hunt them like deer but the thought of working birds is becoming more and more appealing.

I have a few calls and decoys, but always end up patterning them like deer and hunting them like deer.

After hunting a few times with Easton and several birds skirting just out of his range I broke down and bought a decoy...a flextone that cost me $50. Thing works. No doubt about it. Easton actually missed the bird he killed with his first shot...I was only loading a shell at a time in his gun and that tom stood next to that decoy, at 15 yards, while I reloaded his gun and gave him another shot opportunity.
The bird I killed walked across the plot in full strut and was directly beside the decoy when I killed him.

Matter of fact, another bird died because of that decoy about 15 minutes ago. called a buddy and said let's get out if the house and go kill a bird. Bird on the ground an hour later... One spurred 4 year old..

Which flextone deke do you use Swilk? I have the feeder hen myself and for the money it looks pretty good. Thought about adding the funky chicken to the fold.

Whatever that one is... Birds were gobbling shortly after we got out...2 hens and 2 Tom's came through with the lead hen making a beeline for the decoy. 2 minutes later the other 3 made their way over and my buddy took one.
