My buddy bought this call at the Boat, Sport and Travel show. We both tried it out, dry and wet, and it sounded great either way. It was only $55 at the show, and I was going to splurge and get one too, but, they didn`t take a debit card. I was amazed. Why in the world, at a huge show like that, wouldn`t they be set up to take a debit/credit card? When I got home, I went to their website and was considering still getting one, but the cost from their website was even higher, plus an crazy high shipping and handling, so, they had me at the show, but lost the sale when they said cash only. teamenticer.com/shop?olsPage=products%2Fclassic-wet-one

Look up JT Calls and Sport n wood game calls. Both have pot calls that are waterproof and both are just great at making turkey calls. I personally know the owners of Sport n wood and they are great people and make some really great calls too. I would recommend checking both of them out.

I have a JT ceramic over glass. Haven't got it wet yet but the glass side is the waterproof side. Both sides sound great. I seen the add on Facebook last year, somehow it knew I was browsing calls on the internet browser (creepy). Anyways... I bought the call and low and behold the shipping address was a stones throw aways from me up US 52 in Morristown. I have not met him but am certain we have crossed paths somewhere or another. Seems like a great guy he will answer any and all questions. Check JT's website out!

It adds up over time. Shipping is absolutely nuts now price wise.

If my arithmetic is correct, 4% would have been an additional $2.20, but they lost out on the $55 I was ready to plunk down at the show. And don`t think businesses don`t simply roll the cost of running the cards into the base cost of the item. Oh well, I`ve hunted and killed birds without it up to now.

Exactly ^^^^^.... should just went to the ATM and got the cash! I walked in the door with around $50 in cash because I knew there would be a couple of things I would want and I didn't want to mess around with waiting on credit card approvals.

cash is always king except to precious metals Exactly. I went to the doc the other week. Had to get a chest x-ray. Self insured.... X-ray was $85 cash (the green stuff). Guy came in after me while I was still waiting for the same thing and had to use a CC. $200.00 I asked them what the cost would be if I had insurance pay for it, they said $400.00. What is wrong with this picture? Another thing. If the CC is a bogus CC, the small business takes it in the shorts for the $$, NOT the CC company. I had 2 fraudulent charges last year, each for around $300 of chemicals. So, I'm out the cost of chemicals, the cost of shipping, the 3.75% cost of the transaction, PLUS $49 per transaction for the "conbenience" of returning the money to them. So I have to rethink my policy of only charging 4% more for CC orders.

To each their own I guess. The world works and runs on electronic payment. I choose to not carry a billfold full of cash. In my mind, it's pretty silly to have a booth at a show and not be ready to accommodate any form of payment, especially the most common.
