My conservation club is looking for a new conservation group to sponsor.
Who would you all suggest?

Not sure something like this is what you're thinking, but your group could start an outdoors man's (and women's) club at a local school. You could teach basic outdoor/survival skills (how to stay alive without your cell phone), give intros to hunting, fishing, boating and explain the role that sportspeople play (and Pay) in conservation. I could envision field trips to State FWAs, discussions with the managers, etc. Really there's no end to what could be done (camping, fishing trips to gun/skeet/archery range?), just need to find a willing school. I know it gets tricky with liability and insurance but it must be possible. I've heard of schools with skeet clubs.
Too many folks these days are totally disconnected from the natural world. Not only do they not hunt or fish, they can't imagine why anyone else should either. The slope keeps getting more slippery. Just a thought.

I was looking more for Ducks Unlimited, Pheasants Forever, etc That being said that's a great idea, and I totally agree that it's only getting more disconnected.

Have the Boy Scouts build wood duck boxes or goose nesting structures.
