Greetings
Its been a slow doe season for me this year, the deer have never been hungry at all.
Not sure what I have shot without a count up,but be between fifty and sixty I imagine.
Two nights ago I came upon two deer running in as I drove by, so tonight I thought i would try for them.
Got in the van and set off, around a half mile from them i parked up got the rifle the trigger sticks and bailey, carefully stalked into the area, by the lord a bit of luck for a change they were out waiting for us.
Got the trigger sticks set up put the rifle in the fancy cradle and waited.
First one turned and sent it into its shoulders, went straight down, the second one danced around a little but settled down so I put the bullet in the base of its neck just in front of the shoulder.
Job done.
Bailey the monkey started to run in I shouted she stopped and came back her punishment was to walk in at heel with me.
First time she has done that,i hope its the last.
So we have had five so far this week the weather has been awful with big floods and a lot of people have lost everything in their homes.
I am lucky I live high up all our water ends up in the valleys below us.
Got something to show you might make you laugh once I am able to put photos on
Regards
Billy
