I saw that and couldn’t believe it..
This is like being able to sue a car manufacturer if a drumk driver kills your family. Doesn’t make sense at all..

BTW - how did the individual judges vote?

Haven't seen any particulars on individual votes. But such silliness does not bode well for gun rights.

Not only that, but the shooter killed his mother and stole her legally owned firearm to kill those children. How can that be Remington's fault? BTW, I can't find how the justices voted, but if this is a "conservative" leaning court, I'd hate to see a liberal one.

Not sure there was a "vote" the court just didn't accept the case.
The argument is that Remington used marketing practices that are illegal (marketing a product for illegal purposes) in Connecticut. Basically SCOTUS declined to determine legal marketing practices. Now, the plaintiff has to prove that Remington actually marketed their product in a way contrary to Connecticut law.

Remington is protected per the 6th amendment.

You don't need a sledge hammer to break up a boulder, just need to chip away little by little. This is a slippery slope indeed.
