Looking for someone to rough score my buck. I know about the drying period but just want to see where this one is. I did it myself on the Boone and Crockett website using their instructions and paperwork and got 182 2/8. I think I screwed up somewhere cause it’s not that big. Any suggestions?

Dean Stallion at American Taxidermy in Boonville can accurately score it. If it isn’t a crazy rack I can do it.. not official though.

If you don’t mind sometime. I really just want an estimate anyway, not mounting it just making a European mount out if it.

You don't add the tip to tip spread and the greatest spread. Only the inside spread.

That makes more sense. Why do they put that on the sheet if you don’t count it?

Somewhere around 156"? A trophy for most hunters. Might be hard to top that one. He would be on my wall as a shoulder mount, for sure.

That’s more realistic. He’s gonna be a European mount, almost done with it already. I’ve got a 8 point bigger than this one that I’ve never measured. Might have to now.
