So I’m wondering how to optimize my time in the woods tomorrow. I prefer evenings this time of year for predictable movement, but that cold front morning has to get them moving. Thoughts?

I don't hunt any prime stands till Oct.25th on. Hunt food sources prior. So evenings best, if mornings between bedding and food source.

News just said rain will be gone about midnight. With calling for temps in the upper 30s, I'll be in the tree as the sun comes up. My entire woods is between bed and food, so that's not an issue.
Gotta load the dump trailer tomorrow and get wood to the house, so hunt morning, move wood, might hunt afternoon. Hoping the 6 year old I've been letting walk the past 4 years makes an appearance. The guys south of me have trail cam pics of him this year and they're drooling for a chance at him. I guess it just comes down to what side of the fence he's on when one of us gets lucky.

Tomorrow will be my first day out in the woods for a hunt anyway, got a new blind set up to start the season off with to go along with my three climbing stand sets, hopefully this weather will have them on there feet, I think I will even pull some cards to see who's been strolling around while I'm at it!

I'll be out with a buddy in the morning. Hunting one of my farms. We'll get in there early and hunker down. Both will be sitting between bedding and food, couple hundred yards apart. Will be out by noon. the wife and I are headed to Evansville for a concert tomorrow eve or else I'd be out all day possibly. Good luck fellas. Stay safe.

Nice pictures. I didn't even hang cameras this year. I know 2 big deer from past years that use the farm and any shot choice will be in the moment. I do know the one is around thanks to the neighbors, but he has green light target on his back for everybody in the area this year. I just hope our resident road poacher doesn't get at him first.

The cams are a fun diversion I am pulling them as I start hunting. They can be useful but not always. Got bob on one right next to a subdivision. I know you love your bobcats
