Does anyone know? If you`ve killed a tom turkey in the spring season, does that mean you may only take a hen in the fall, or would another tom be legal?

Fall 2019 – The bag and possession limit for the fall seasons is one bird of either sex, regardless of hunting equipment used or what portion of the season. Fall archery season is statewide. Fall firearms season has specific dates for specific counties (see below or map on Wild Turkey).

Are you saying only one tom for the entire year or one tom for each season, spring and fall?

So then a tom would be legal in the fall even if one were taken in the spring. That's the way I read it. A separate turkey hunting license is required when hunting during each turkey hunting season — one for the spring season and one for the fall season. So spring license is one bearded bird and fall license is one bird of either sex. Separate seasons, separate licenses, separate limit/sex.

Fortunately, I have a lifetime hunting and fishing license, so my tags are always in my hunting vest.

Then go kill ya a big ole gobbler. Good luck. I`m gonna be deer hunting, if I kill a turkey in the fall, it would be incidental to deer hunting.
