Wasn't going to hunt this morning because of the winds but they dont seem to have picked up too bad so far. Seems like should be a good morning

I'm jealous, but good luck to those in the woods. I'm back to 8hr days, but even getting off @ 3:30pm I still don't have enough time to get home, get my stuff and in the blind. I need the freezer stuffers, but I also need the money. Broadhead and bolts are getting pretty expensive, I'm down to 1 bolt and broadhead, but I've still got my Bear Lights Out to fall back on.

Hmmmm. 2 does just ran by my stand with their tails up I had a similar thing on Monday afternoon. Two does ran right at my stand then dove into the corn field. Tails up on both of them. I just knew something was right them. Nope...

Waiting for the wind to switch, while I have a great spot that one stand is in, and the deer would be using the area, the area is SSE of the stand and with a NNW wind I'm not going to chance it. Looks like Friday morning for now.....

Skunk for me again tonight. I was on a new piece of public for the first time. Lots of good sign though. I need some meat for the freezer. I’ll just have to keep at it

Today I made a mock scrape, and put a camera there, and also put a camera on a real scrape that was about 550 yds SSE of the mock scrape. I'll check both cameras tomorrow to make sure they are working then leave them be for a week. TONS of turkeys out.

I'm seeing some big bucks in South Dakota! I can only shoot them with a Canon though.

I was thinking you got your buck in Indiana last year, but this photo looks pretty "urban". Anyway, good luck! I've got some decent bucks on camera on private that I'm waiting until rut to move in on. Just night time movement currently.

My stand is about 50 yards down the hill. The pole are my hops that I grow. I have three poles each 24 ft with 3 feed in ground. Last year was Ohio. Only my 3rd Ohio Buck. Must are Indiana bucks. I started hunting at home more with the 2012 EHD in Switzerland. Hard to hunt them in Urban. They go nocturnal all the time and have us patterned.

Knew where and when they were coming to 15 acre food plot. Stuck the decoy out and never called once. Shot him at about 10 yards when they came to the decoy. 2 pm in afternoon. Fall is my all time fav for hunting turkey. Very predictable.

Picked up another day in the city program so I'm setting in a blind in a big bottom. I'd be happy with a doe tonight

I chased the turkeys out of the food plot when I went to get the card from the camera. 45 min later when I went to put the card back in the camera, I had to chase the turkeys out of the food plot again. Only at the most 20 yds from the stand.
Guys, FWIW, it helps to turn the trail cam "on" if you want to take pictures...................
