Featherduster here and his cousin from Florida went on a 8 day fishing trip to Lake Erie, we were the second string group who were replacing a group that had just enjoyed a week of excellent fishing. When we arrived everything weather wise went down the tubes, we had heavy rain and STRONG easterly winds that flooded the low laying shoreline areas and turned the lake into a mud pool. We were only able to get out a couple times as strong winds held us at bay and our results were minimal at best. I planned this fishing trip so that the last day would be spent fishing with our good friend Captain Bob Hayner of EAGLE EYE CHARTERS and that was wise move. Schall53 came over and brought a friend who is now converted to Lake Erie fishing they along with 2 other of our regulars came and joined us for our crew of six. We set up in an area that Bob was hoping would be holding fish because of the week long bad weather it was a guessing game where those fish might be from day to day. Long story made short we caught 45 Walleyes and and a small assortment of farm animals in approx.five hours. We had our 92 pounds of Walleye cleaned for us while we toasted the day and enjoyed some of Schall53's Whitetail deer pastrami. For supper our crew dined that evening at the Crows Nest restaurant where we had about 6 pounds of our catch cooked up in several different ways. Our group of great guys will be returning for one more trip in June.

Schall53 with some kind of farm animal. Schall was a "FOUR H" leader so he knows a good Sheephead when he sees one.
