(from LindsayThomasJr) It often feels like many hunters lack trust in their state wildlife agencies, but this recent survey work by Responsive Management says otherwise. Across the U.S., state wildlife agencies are trusted more than state gov't on the whole and far more than the U.S. gov't!  Among these "wildlife value orientations," most hunters would fit the "traditionalist" category. So, it's interesting to see that traditionalists had the second highest level of trust in state wildlife agencies. My dig is just on non native. Need some creative programs for everyday people to remove them for some type of reward. I know cost and resources are limited.

I have more trust in our Fish and Wildlife professionals than I do the legislators who circumvent the system and hinder the professionals from doing their jobs.

So...If I had to "rank" my DNR, State government and federal government....then yes. I trust the DNR the most, OF THOSE 3 OPTIONS. But...is that really saying anything?

This doesn't shock me one bit. Spend some serious time, especially as of late, with Joe and or Nancy or any of the others in the IDNR or F&W and you will learn quite quickly where their hearts are and minds at. Often times quite to the contrary of the "social media stir" that exists if honest.

Who answers these polls?
I have a healthy level of skepticism when it comes to anything government. If someone asked me to participate in a poll like this I would not.
If there are others like me, these polls are biased as the folks that are willing to participate are generally more trusting than folks that are not willing to participate.
