I used to have a hunting buddy that drooled over anything that had a bone collector logo on it.
I tried for years to convince him that the deer didn't care....
As far as the rubber ring is concerned...in certain professional fields I can see it as an option. if your so obsessed with deer hunter or the bone collector brand to take it to that level....you honestly need some help!

I actually like the colors. I have a groove ring that I wear everyday that is camo. I’ve lost two wedding bands in lake Monroe so decided to go the cheap route and stick with the silicone band.

I need to re-phrase my comment a bit and put it in context. I only wear one ring...my wedding band. And I was in that frame of mind... I guess for some reason it didn't cross my mind that you would possibly wear another ring on another finger. Nothing wrong with that. Having a "bone collector" wedding band...THAT is taking it too far! I tell my wife I was going to do that for fear of loosing my current ring she would cut my finger off an put it someplace where I would always know if it was there!

I almost lost my wedding band a few times. It's loose, and it's worse when it's cold outside. I got to the point if I put on a pair of gloves, I would take it off. This year my wife got me a silicon ring (plain - not a bone collector) for Christmas. It's awesome. It fits better and temperature doesn't seem to affect it. I don't get the calluses that I used to. And I still have the gold one to put on whenever I get cleaned up.

Dad was working on the car one day and his ring somehow touched the positive terminal on the battery and the frame of the car at the same time. He had to push it away from his finger and keep spitting on it to get it cooled down, and he still had a blistered finger.

Wrench in hand on the terminal and in contact with the ring...then ring contacts ground. Gold is an excellent conductor.

I've worn a silicone ring for 3 years now. Still wearing the same one I originally bought. I only wear my tungsten band on date night. I doubt I would ever pay for a bone collector ring but that's just me.
