Hmmm...I think a $500 fine would've been sufficient..you know..it's only a few minor infractions 😉

It is nice to see some hefty fines for blatantly breaking the law.

Good across the board investigations and violations with even better fines and license suspensions.

The fines should be much higher, this wasnt a one off incident this was a large coordinated deliberate operation. I feel like any fine under 6 figures, for the major player, is letting them off with a slap.

The fact that a lot of these jerks are going to be allowed to be back out in the woods in 5 years or so is sickening.

I couldn't access the story, but I'm glad to see they were caught.$500 fines seems entirely too low. Revocation of all future hunting rights is fine by me, but doesn't go far enough. Confiscation of all equipment involved should also apply. Some states allow for the confiscation and sale of any firearms, vehicles, freezers...I've even heard of authorities confiscating houses.
If these individuals lost their license, that's one thing. Having to re-equip with a new vehicle, firearm, clothes, freezers...would make it much more costly to repeat the offense.

You can't legislate morality.
