This Southern Indiana pharmacy reciept is stretching the tape to a whopping 56 1/4" which would be a new world record if it holds up after the mandatory 60 day drying period. Seriously though, this is ridiculous. I hate these things. What a waste of paper and ink.

I don't think they use ink, I think that is thermally activated paper.

If you don’t want a paper receipt just get CVS app for your phone. Your phone works as your card and you can have receipt sent to your email. Plus it alerts you when prescriptions are ready so no more phone calls.
