Caped my nephews deer out today. Did a quick string with tape measure and came up with 147 4/8 in gross. I removed the lower jaw to see the teeth and when comparing them to 3 other sets I have from known deer I figure his deer is 4 yrs old if not possibly 5. I have pictures of teeth if any one wants me to post them

These jaws are from 2 8 pts and 2 10 pts All 4 mounted by me. First picture has youngest deer in back to oldest in front. Notice the tooth height and the dark tarter as the deer gets older. Guess which jaw goes to which deer. One picture is oldest buck agents youngest. Good luck

Thank you for taking the time to post the pictures!
Last year I took a button buck, I still haven't dug the skull up from the back yard. I will request the taxi to save this year's 8pt jaw as I didn't take a very good look at its teeth and I am curious as to what it's age is and really want to learn more as I had a hard time following the DNR video.

Judging a deers age now is very difficult by teeth anymore. Less snow piled up in winters here now changes there browsing and so many people putting in food plots.
