Sad news that none will survive when Asian honeysuckle shows up on the land. It wipes the landscape clear of all other species. Yes, that is horrid stuff. My pal actually got a few bucks from the state for his eradication efforts. Honeysuckle, Multiflora rose, and a few other things I can't recall were on the list. Part of why I do what I do is that many wild plants are easy to miss and thus unappreciated by folks that might care if they knew what to look for. Outdoorsmen are by nature more likely to take an interest in what grows on their land. My dream would be that hunters that manage their land in other ways might include a love for natives coupled with killing invasives. There is no total victory but creating "Islands" of native flora is a real possibility.
