Never thought about this before but they are pulling in the beans where I'm at. Will deer lay I'm them as much as they do corn? Stupid question I'm sure but these things come up when you ain't seeing deer and are bored. Specifically pointed towards farmers on here. You jump many out when you harvest the beans?

I would say no. However, there are a lot of standing beans where I am hunting and the deer have been hitting the cut fields munching on the short green grass that has sprouted up. I would sit tight, lots of times deer come to a fresh cut bean field the first evening.

Was cutting beans about week and half ago and had a buck locked down with a doe with two other smaller bucks lingering around. When they would bed down you couldn’t see them a bit. Finished the last field today and there was a small buck all by himself bedded in the middle of standing beans. I could go on and on of how many deer we have jumped bedded in the middle of standing bean fields.

Figured I've seen em laying in fields where it was obvious they were there but they thought they were hidden, why not a bean field. Watched a lot of muleys I'm Wyoming that stood out like a sore thumb but you couldn't convince them of that. Ain't pressure in the middle of a bean field, why not.

They absolutely do. Have a ton of standing beans where I’m at and have watched deer all season bed in them regularly.

Even in that small patch the farmer left because they were still green when they harvested the field.

I haven't seen it a lot but my biggest buck to date was bedded in the middle of a standing bean field. It was mid October so the beans were mostly brown with some green in spots.
