Everything about this guy is wrong, I hope that he is punished in such a manner so that others who think this kind of guy is cool will think long and hard before they attempt to be like him.

It will be interesting to see what he actually gets for his crimes.

It will be interesting to see what he actually gets for his crimes. Hope it is a lot.....he lost a bunch of money with his show being cancelled and product endorsements..plus his name is mud to all honest hunters. He threw it all away.. Myles Keller is a friend of mine and we had a discussion on this stuff back when Noel Feather got busted. He said Noel just got lazy and tried a short cut . He told me he makes contact with the CO in any county that he hunted prior to hunting. If he killed a big one he would again contact the CO for verification of his kill. It’s a shame he had to do that but he took no chances in killing a big one and some saying he did it dishonestly.

Prolly just get a slap on the wrist. The guy I turned in shot a buck outside of urban zone and tagged it as urban. Shot a doe same morning had a buddy tag it in. Later shot a buck in gun season. Got both bucks confiscated and equipment. Think he either had to pay 500-750 in fines and lost hunting license for one year

Jails only hold so many people..... we need to make sure the right ones are there IMO

Hit them where it hurts and quit being so soft on criminals!!

Get more steep on them like Ohio and Illinois. Not just make them pay $500restitution fee back to the state.

Know any other state that does this? Not sure your fine is that much for a DWI with body injury!

I even wish I had that 15 minutes back..

What Brackett did was greedy plain and simple .... driven by money, fame and the pressure of doing a show. He has already lost most everything in his life and Ill be happy with the states decision if they do something like keep him from hunting the state of Indiana for 5 years.

I’m thinking In Ohio that would have been a $10,000 fine deer.

As a new hunter and land owner there are definitely parts of the hunting culture that seem a bit odd. Including the the self produced video trophy hunters. And also the part where other hunters run up in my stable wanting to know what I'm going to shoot this year.

The Lacy Act charges will be far worse than any state charges. He will pleas state charges down, pay a fine, and lose hunting privileges for a year.
I realize the camera guy is the one who finally turned him in, but I think that guy should be charged as well since this incident happened in 2013. He was an accomplice and only opened his mouth when he got mad at the guy who pulled the trigger.
