Whether you play the harmonica or just really enjoy listening to some of the best, I’d like to read your thought and feed back here! And yeah... I’m going somewhere with this...

Ok, so you have a bit of a hint. This fine fella plays a mean harmonica. Anybody recognize him? (And no, not the big ugly white haired guy-that'd be me!)

Charlie McCoy! Some of you might remember him as the music director for the TV show, Hee Haw! He was there almost 20 years. I also learned that he has recorded numerous sessions on the harmonica and other instruments for the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins, George Jones, Loretta Lynn, Waylon Jennings, Bob Dylan, The Steve Miller Band, Perry Como, Ringo Starr and many others. Through my son's good friend, Richard Kiser, an award winning guitarist I had the opportunity to spend the evening with Charlie McCoy and Jason Coleman, the grandson of the famed "slip note" pianinst Floyd Cramer while in Virginia over the past weekend. It was a great time that I'll not forget!!! For a little taste of Charlie McCoy on the harmonica: www.youtube.com/watch?v=utQeIlSXoAQAnd then son Jason Coleman: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTo8k12DrU4And also Richard Kiser on his infamous 1968 Ford Thunderbird muffler guitar: www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPAUiWeDT60

Yes... I do remember him now! Yep, he could make that harmonica sing and talk. I think Richard's T Bird was burning oil!
