A good friend of mine, Scott Stanberry from Illinois, killed a very nice buck with a primitive osage bow and a stone arrow head that he made. He self filmed the hunt and got some great footage.

That's cool. How did that deer die? It looks like the arrow is barely in him. Very difficult shot at that angle.

I bet his heart was pounding like a jack hammer when that big guy turned and walked straight to his tree. Mine sure would have been!

That's cool. How did that deer die? It looks like the arrow is barely in him. Very difficult shot at that angle. It took out one lung and caused a lot of blood loss. The stone point buried into the brisket. I'm guessing his arrows are 30" - 32" long so he still had plenty of penetration.
