I feel it only fair to report on my HA Grendel since I made the public announcement of all the troubles that I had with Bear Creek Arsenal. When I got my BCA refund HA was running a summer sale that included an 18" barreled upper, bcg, charging handle, and ASC mag for $10 less than what I had paid for the BCA. A week and a half ago I made a quick trip to the range to foul the barrel and get it rough sighted on dirt clods on the 100 yards berm. Last night I got to put it on paper. Shot two shots that hit high-left as sighter shots. Made an adjustment down and fired. Then made my adjustment right for zero. Confirmed zero with point of aim change to top of the square sticker. Couldn't be happier!

Then I made a bad move by shooting two other loads at the same target thinking they would not hit so close to what I shot first. All handloads. Sighted in with Hornady 129 SP. Also shot some Nosler 129 ABLR and one 120 BT (that one I think overlapped one of the first two sighter shots). So not counting sighting in or the 120 BT, it comes in just under an inch at 100 yards for two different loads.

Glad you got it all sorted out in the end! Should be a sweet little round for deer hunting!

Found the spot with the 129 grain Nosler Accubond Long Range where the gun shoots better than I can hold it at 100 yards!
