I was just ordering some parts for my truck (by the way, Rock Auto is a great source) and the payment was declined. I called the 800 number on the back of my card. It's NOT 800, but 888. 1-800 and the same remaining numbers will connect you to a phone sex line. The Cabela's line is 1-888.
Have a laugh at my expense.

Is this the first time my card keeps getting rejected had the card for 20 or more years with out any problems now the last three months it only works half the time called them at least 5 times about it they say they fixed it but than I try and use it and it’s got a hold on it again. Sucks I use the crap out of it for work I’m not going to carry 200 or 300 bucks around with me all the time. It’s not from lack of payment or late either it’s paid in full every billing maybe I need a new card from another Company

I would assume failed payments have something to do with the transition.

I had a screen opened for each one and confirmed all three purchases within minutes. I know it can be aggravating, but I don't mind. There was a fraud attempt on our card from Spain a few months ago and the credit card folks caught and stopped it.

No failed payments no interest It’s paid in full every time as all my bills I’m not paying some one 20 30 bucks because I’m late nor am I paying 15 to 24 percent Interest That’s a good way to go broke

Had a fraud on my card but that was 3 or 4 years ago so I don’t think that’s it who knows it’s just a pain when I need something to finish a job and my card won’t work and it’s the only one I have

Just saying the company as a whole is switching to master card. The transition may be what's causing issues.

That was my only cc for 15 yrs. I closed it late last year for a different card where I earn more points and much more options on how to use them.
They did have a great fraud protection. I really appreciated it, but we cancelled ours because we had a few unapproved charges show up

Cabela's caught each one and sent a call or lately text alerts of the attempts and shut down the cards. The only bad part is paying cash for everything for about a week while the new cards show up. I found it odd that the last cards showed up along with a notice that we would not need to active the cards; that they were ready to go right out of the envelope...right after having them replaced for a fraud attempt!!!

We've gotten away from using the Cabelas card very much anymore since all you get is Cabelas points and I've got just about all of the toys accumulated that I need. Went with a Citi Mastercard and get 2% back cash on all purchases, much better deal.

I maybe doing the same see how this new deal works out they say it will be better and you can spend points at BP also

I recently ordered something from Bass Pro's website and it was back ordered. Well they went to process the order today and my Cabela's card was declined due to fraudulent activity from that order. They wouldn't even let me buy something from their own company! I realize the card program is separate but I laughed at the irony.

We've gotten away from using the Cabelas card very much anymore since all you get is Cabelas points and I've got just about all of the toys accumulated that I need. Went with a Citi Mastercard and get 2% back cash on all purchases, much better deal. I normally use my points on rimfire ammo or bullets for reloading my centerfires. Makes the hobby a lot cheaper.
