...shoot a big eight or ten, or a big six? Over the years there have been a few big six pointers running around here, and I think given the choice i'd rather have the six, though of course I'd take either. A lot of my buddies feel the same way. It's just something about 'em... maybe that they are weird. How do you feel about it?

I've taken 5 130-140" tens.. so I guess a big 8 or a big 6. Not that I'd pass anything with a big body, thick neck, and decent antlers.
Out west, sometimes mule deer bucks never grow anything more than forked horns. I'd love to kill a big mature forky.

I’d like a 140-150” spike deer but big typical 8’s are pretty much ideal to me

Whichever one had the biggest body. That's another dream of mine. One of those bucks so big and heavy that his short legs make him look like a dachshund.

All standing in front of me...all mature with good shots on all....the giant 6 (so long as one with brows) gets my arrow. Very few deer besides megas make me stop and just stare, but a GIANT 6 is truly an amazing thing to me.

I would rather see a big 8 over a similar sized (based on score) 10. I have never seen a "big" 6 so who knows. I tend to shoot the first buck that makes my heart go pitter-patter. On my place if you like him you better take him because there is a real chance you will never see him again.

Depends on the definition of "big" ..... if we are talking a six, an eight and a ten all of equal inches I would take the six. If we are talking a 200" ten or a 130" six I'll take the ten every time.

I would likely take any of the three...but a big six would be unique...

Id love to be able to put the "biggest body" thing to the test ..... I wonder how may guys would really shoot a 200lb doe over a 200" buck that weighed 180lbs.
Impossible to know but I have my suspicions on the answer ....

I would love to kill a big 8 point in the 150" range, easier said than done, though

Impossible to know but I have my suspicions on the answer .... The deer with biggest rack will get shot 99% of time..... anyone says different is only fooling themselves.

Impossible to know but I have my suspicions on the answer .... Since I have a lifetime license, won't hesitate to shoot a doe, can work the action of a rifle quick, AND moving targets aren't that hard to hit, the buck would go down first, then I'd try to drop the doe. I'm not that good at judging whether a deer weighs 20# more than another on the hoof anyway. LOL
