Does anyone shoot the beman arrows...i talked to a guy at the local dealer and he told me that he didnt like them because he couldnt keep a vain on them...he also said that he has had numerous customers this. Just wondering because i was thinking about buying some. Also what is your advice on best arrows for a reasonable price??

You'll get varied responses I'm sure. I've gone to Easton Epics to get my bow shooting a little flatter. They are the #1 seller at The Outdoorsman so I guess I'm a pack member. My daughter shoots the Beman Hunter Jrs. though a WB and her vanes have stayed on just fine, although I'm sure her speed isn't real fast as she's drawing 30#.

I have been using Beman ICS Hunters for years. I use the ICS400's. Only difference is that I use wraps on mine. Very tuff shafts and durable !!!

Ive been shooting Beman Carbon Hunters for over 15 years now and i use plain old super glue to fletch with and no trouble. Every once in a while I might have a vane come off but usually its because i didn't glue it right. h.h.

I think Bemans are probably ok. Unless they are made out of teflon I would think that the fastset gel super glue would stick them on just fine.

I've been using the Beman ICS Hunter's for several years and they've done a fine job for me. I'm still shooting two that have killed deer.

Switched to Beman ICS Hunter Elite 340's after GoldTip moved their manufacturing to Mexico.
The bemans are very close to being as tough as the GoldTips were, and seem to be slightly more accurate. Someone on another forum I visit said that the Bemans were more consistent in spine. Couldn't prove it by me, but I do seem to group slightly better with them.
I have used Goat Tuff glue with very good success, and also Super Glue, and am now trying Krazy Glue. No problems so far. I use feathers nearly all the time now, but fletch vanes for a couple friends and those glues seemto work very well for both.
I clean the shafts with denatured alcohol on a paper towel, then don't touch the cleaned area until after the fletching.

Most carbon shafts are made of very similar materials. I doubt they are any harder to fletch than other brands. As noted above, they must be cleaned well before fletching.

I have a buddy that uses an old prong style TM hunter rest and he shoots beman arrows at 77 lbs draw on a PSE Carerra,,that thing is smokin fast and his fletchings are still good after 4 years shooting.
