Did I miss it? Please give us details on your Ozone generator. Thanks.. Bought a kit from redfoxtrapper on eBay for about $75. His seemed to put out too much ozone at 1gm/hr. I have been playing with a 500mg/hr one that seems like the right amount of ozone. I'm slightly obsessive compulsive. With the money I've spent for batteries and generators, I could have bought an OZonics. I would recommend that unless you have time and like to tinker. I'll post pics later if anyone is interested. I have an Ozonics 200 and a spare large battery that I bought used from my Taxidermist. I like it. Please do post details as some folks on here are "tinkerers".

Two things are in my playbook. I'm going to try out a home maid ozone generator and focus on hunting edges (mostly do that already). May try hunting a bit lower where wind swirles to give the ozone a real test. Do you have enough extension cords?

Leasing ground for the first time from someone I don't know. Should be interesting getting to know them and seeing if this could turn longer term. Focused on helping my kids get their first deer this year.

My 20 yr old just told me that he might hunt this fall. Great news. I wondered if any of the three would pick it back up.

I'm going to venture deeper into these Jefferson County hollers. (Especially since the landowner fixed his quad. We can't get anywhere near the bottom, but you can work wonders with about 2 miles of rope.) I know I have missed a lot of opportunities because I've simply avoided going down there. I think I'll commit to only shooting a decent buck down in the pits of doom. Now that we have telecheck, if worse comes to worse I can pack it out western-style. Anyone else thinking of changing their "strategery?" This is awesome. Farm I hunt in Washington county has straight up and down hills. I was hunting the bottom this year and had six doe come by. Put the scope on each one and watched them walk. The whole time I was reciting in my head, I can't get the ATV close and don't wanna drag up that hill.

I've not only got to change my strategy but also my place since Bill passed away. His woods was the only place I had other than back behind the house along the creek. Last year the farmer hadn't gotten the crops off until after Firearms season was over with so if he does that again this year,I won't be able to go at all. Plus I'm a little scared of hunting back here because the other side of the creek belongs to another guy and his grandkids hunt right along the creek too sometimes, plus I think sometimes on my side. A few years ago I was hunting up on the hill in a little grown up area close to the ditch and a gun went off from the ditch I think, scared the crap out of me thinking I might get shot. The ditch starts about 50 yards into the field and drains into the creek see and whoever it was should have been across the ditch and might have been but if he was he was still close to me because I was only 30 yards from the creek.

Found a few new spots that I’m going to do a few hang and hunts this fall. Also was lucky enough to win a cross bow this year so I might take that out in early season to try to get a doe with it. Other than that I’m going to do what I did last year and avoid our land until late October. By not hunting for the first 3 weeks I feel like I saw way more deer in 2017 than I had in the past. Already got my cameras rolling so hoping to see if the giant with the drop tine is still around...

I just played golf with an old friend that has 262 acre farm in Switzerland county about 10 mile from my brother. I used to hunt it back in the early 80's and haven't since 1989. We talked and have permission to hunt it again. Looking forward hunting that place again after all these years. He got married and his wife didn't like the ideal. Now it's okay.
