Is anyone else here a member on the Indiana sportsmen forum? I've tried to sign up and never received the confirmation email, I've resent it multiple times, and I've tried to contact them to figure it out and nothing.

I've been a member there for years but not many people post over there anymore. This forum is way more active and civil.

Ok. I wasn't sure if I should give up or not. It wouldn't even let me see the pics people posted as I wasn't a member.
Thanks.

There are numerous internet forums related to hunting and fishing that have gone by the wayside and in my opinion it was and still is the fault of the moderators for not keeping it civil. Another thing I have noticed is that someone will take an interest in some sort of an outdoor activity and after awhile they loose interest and fade away. This is the only site that I know of that a person can still talk about waterfowl hunting and get straight information. I don't do facebook, I do this instead, this is an excellent place for outdoor enthusiasts.

I agree wholeheartedly. I didn't know if anyone here was involved over there and didn't want to step on anyone's toes. IIRC the moderators weren't able/too busy with personal or work stuff to effectively keep it under control. I actually quit looking at it 3 or 4 years ago and then started checking it out again 6-8 months ago and it didn't seem like it had changed very much.

I have been a member for years,it is nearly dead, even during gun season. This is the BEST Indiana hunting forum,by far! I might add, I am also a member of Michigan Sportsmen, it's just like Indiana sportsmen only it is very busy. I think it is interesting to see what goes on in neighboring states.

Some guy named Steve owned and administered it. Not sure of he still does as I had heard he had sold it to some company that sold ads. There was quite a little clique there in that some folks could do and say just about anything that they wanted to with little or no repercussions. That makes it destined for a slow death...
Civility has been the guiding principle on here since day one..

Having found this forum I’ve lost all interest in other Indiana forums. The only one I’m still curious about is Hoosier hunting but until they get setup on Tapatalk this is the only forum for me. Oh and I agree I do use Michigan sportsman when I’m up there. Not bad, I suppose
