Finally took possession of the truck Bill left us. Just need to figure out what's wrong with the 4 wheel drive is all,it runs great. It's going to be her truck since I already have 2,here's her standing in front of it and in it. Plus a front view.

Ford 4x4 is vacuum activated. Check for a leaking or missing hose, usually on the front axle. That was what was wrong on my F-150.......robin

Ford 4x4 is vacuum activated. Check for a leaking or missing hose, usually on the front axle. That was what was wrong on my F-150.......robin I'll check that. I figure it's in the actuation system because I don't hear any grinding. Either that or the lockers at the wheels aren't working.

Nice looking and the best kind, free!
Fords have plastic vacuum lines to the front actuator, and regularly go bad. I have personally worked on about 7-8, and every single time has been weak or no vacuum to front actuator. Just got to isolate to know where to look. Punch in youtube for a video on diagnosis.
