What do you think about deer hunting with a setup that gives 34'#?

Other than being an illegal bow weight for deer hunting which it might not be on another scale it will kill a deer. Use a razor sharp two blade broadhead for maximum penetration and a close broadside shot and you will find a dead deer. h.h,

Sorry if I was unclear; not draw weight; kinetic energy. The bow is well above 35# minimum legal draw weight.

34 foot pounds of KE is sufficient for deer sized game.
Do keep the shots in close and broadside.

Sorry if I was unclear; not draw weight; kinetic energy. The bow is well above 35# minimum legal draw weight. Sorry i miss understood the question. Its plenty of energy to kill a deer. A 435 grn arrow which is approximately 1 ounce traveling at 190 fps = 34 fpe. With a razor sharp two blade broadhead it most likely will shoot threw a broadside deer. h.h.
