I have been looking at the same thing, but thinking more like 40 acres. I have 22 acres in Evansville but it is bow only, and not very good for turkey. I would stick to anywhere near the rivers. Land seems to be more reasonably priced but you do deal with flooding and access issues. Good luck and let me know if you run across a smaller track! Seems like some good deals near Griffin from time to time.

Silly question but how much are you willing to spend? If you're looking for recreational ground I'd go to the beacon site and scan along the rivers and look for wrp ground...the owners information is there and you could start cold calling to see if folks are interested is selling.
Actually, you could do that for any ground but recreational ground might be had for $1-2000 per acre where farm ground or timber will be more.
There is (or at least was) 140 acres for sale about 2 miles due south of my place...i hunted the farm from the time I could walk until 2007. Assuming it hasn't been cut there is some good timber on it.
Gibson County.
