Man, these are a special kind of people. Witnessed a pretty bad wreck waiting to pull into work tonight. The worse of the 2 vehicles stopping it's spin maybe 6ft from my front bumper. Going up to a vehicle not knowing what you're going to find and personally not having a clue what to do with the victims was not a good feeling whatsoever. The driver wasn't responding and had side airbags that kept us from even seeing his upper half. Cutting that airbag out of the way to an unknown sight is nothing I want to do again.
Those that sign up to do that on a daily basis, keep their cool and help people are pretty awesome. Any of you on here that fall in this category, Thank you.

I work/worked with volunteer fireman. Some of the stories they would tell are not for the faint of heart. Bravo to them! I do feel a little better having them around, from a crisis standpoint.

Greetings I have nothing but respect and admiration for first responders. In later stages anne my late wife was very ill at home. Went unconscious one night after a hot bath. Responders came and took so much pressure and worry from me it cannot be described. Amazing people, Billy

Yes sir. As simple of an intersection as that is, it sure has some bad accidents.

Fortunately we don’t deal with many wrecks but unfortunately when we do they are always bad ones. Some of the local departments deal with more wrecks in a month than we do in a year
