BTDT..
Mine ended up ten foot up in a tree halfway to the deer after my crossbow limb hit the tree I was in.
I left it there as a reminder to watch limb clearance next time.
I look at it every time I’m in that stand..

He might have to wait a few years to see if it drops. Don't push it.

Going to be a tough drag out. Yeah that's definitely 1 big enough you'd need a tractor for it.

First deer I ever shot i managed to shoot a giant red oak about twenty yds in front of me dead center with a 20 gauge slug. I was 12 and can remove it like yesterday. No animals were harmed in that case either.

I have done that with a bow and a muzzleloader. With the ML there was 1 little sapling between me and him, about 45yds out - oh yeah I found it.

Anyone who has shot at very many deer has killed a tree .... likely more than one. I know ive killed my fair share. I will say that is the furthest ive seen anyone go to remove a broadhead.

Take that tree! It was probably sitting there all smug because it knew the big one already came by. Tree was asking for it if you ask me!
