I've got the next week and a half to two weeks off. Don't want to go to early. Y'alls thoughts?

Forecast is crap here for me tonight (Rain and Wind from 4 on) calling for rain to end around 8 in morning when front passes so I may want till tomorrow evening to get back out. But to answer question; Yes anytime you can hunt is good now. Probably little early for bulk of chasing to get going but seen several good bucks go down this week and starting to see a few mature bucks on trail cam during daylight. Had a booner taken less than a mile from my house Wednesday.....

That's all I needed to hear! Just so happens the wind should be right for the stand i think im going to score from.
Thinking about hittinf it tonight. Watching this radar close. I can handle a light rain, not so much a downpour.

I'll be in one of my top 2 in the morning and taking a friend to sit the other. We will have both ends of a 200 yard oak flat covered as well as 2 of the 3 valleys. Makes it harder to pick the wrong good stand if you fill both of them.

I think Nov 1st to around the 15th plus cool with wind under 15 mph will be the best times to hunt. Around the 15th the breeding will be in full gear and you will have to find the does and hope the buck comes by. Hunting the late morning to early afternoon is a good time. Bucks will move from one doe group to another.

I’m still running around in shorts and tee shirt. Still to warm out for me to hunt. Fishing is on fire right now. Big gills and redear. Got the biggest bass out of my pond last week. A giant 8 pounder. Yes. Put him back.
