This may not be the right forum for this but was really curious if everyone or more than normal amounts of people are seeing bobcats. I feel like just in my teens 10 years ago bob cats were animals you kinda only dreamed of running into into one in the woods around here I have had pics of cats on 3 different properties the past 2 years and recently moved to Washington working in Bloomington and on 69 there is two dead bob cats in different areas.
Guess my question is do you think there will ever be a season and are a lot of people seeing more bobcats?

Just checked a trail camera last weekend and had two small ones together. I assume they are offspring of a very large one that I got a photo of in February.

I called a bobcat in 20 years ago in northern Warrick county. I can only imagine there are more now. Even when I deer and turkey Hunter in Kentucky (which had a season) they were not seen that often.
As long as the antics don't throw a fit, we will have a season next year.

I had one last night at 10 yards. He came in checking out my doe decoy. I was 20 feet up. Perry county. Had pictures on my cams this summer of this guy.

Not seen one this year but there are some around my farm. Have seen one to a few each of the last 5 years.
Had one leave me a gift in a tree 3 years ago...an inside out squirrel skin on a branch by one of my stands. They had a den along the path I took to that stand. On one occasion I walked by the den when a cat was inside it....it growled at me as I walked by. Pistol was out and ready through that area from then on.
