Ok guys asking for help. Unfortunately due to work I am extremely limited on bow days. Hunt in north Vernon area, how is activity now? Was going to try to go Sunday but wasn't gonna waste one of my days if it's still in a lull. Please don't answer with " can't kill one at home" thanks I've hunted long enough to know that. Any input on movement would be great just been following on here and haven't seen too much yet

If you have the option, I'd wait until next week. Cold front coming with high winds the middle of next week. Things calm down and get cooler afterwards. That's when I'd want to use some days.

If I was very limited and had to choose my days carefully, it would most certainly be early November, preferably the 4th through the 8th.

Any input on movement would be great just been following on here and haven't seen too much yet You have to go when you have time. But....(as was pointed out), next week there is a pretty strong cold front coming in and the mid/later part of next week should be good as long as you have good winds for the stands you wish to hunt. I will start hunting late next week and pick and choose days from there as it should only get better as we get into late October and early November. It's coming...

Agree, I am not hunting this weekend with the weather too warm. Next week has lows in the 30s. If you can, wait. Nov will be her before we know it.

With the moon how it is now! Hunt!!! There reports of some prerut chasing just like women they don't all start at the same time.
The moon is in good phase right now. Today an tomorrow hunt evenings don't waste your Days off they will be moving these two days. I'm not hunting the weekend. Next Wednesday for me there a double digit drop in temps pressure is dropping. Deer will be moving. I'm so impressed with Wednesday I'm considering taking it off. I'm in northern Indiana so things could be completely different for you. Look for double digit drop in temps -10 an drop in pressure with favorable winds. Download a good app like scoutlook Hunting mark your stand. It will show you what way your scent will be going.

A reliable source in Decatur County tells me that he's seeing good sign and even saw one buck harassing a doe.
If I could only hunt one week I'd probably go somewhere around November 4th to the 10th. That always seems hot.

We just got back from a quick trip to Petoskey Mi. Lots of deer hit along I-69. Most were small bucks if that helps.
