Does anyone else shoot these? ;D I have been using 100gr Ironheads and the results have been incredible! The buck I recently shot was split open like a melon and bled profusely. These heads also have the same POA as my field points, so it creates quite an effective combination if you ask me. I don't hear many others talk about Rocky Mountain products, so I figured I would share my experiences...

I`ve "talked" with guys at the Deer & Deer Hunting website that have used them and are very high on them. I can`t recall any negative reviews of them at all.
I`m still shooting the Muzzys-but man, I`ve considered switching to a mechanical-I`m pleased with the performance of the Muzzys, but the rub is finding a good broadhead target that holds up to very many shots with them. Plus if I`m at L`il Arrow Shop in Mace, or Around the Korner Archery in Clayton, it`s fieldpoints only on their shooting ranges. And I know, it isn`t important that I`m hitting the bull with my fieldpoints-just that they`re grouping well, but still.
Maybe I`ll try them on year-awfully good to hear that you like `em and are doing well with them.

I picked up a couple of 6 packs off ebay for 12 bucks each. Just got my first archery deer with them. They did the job for me and they were super cheap.

I bought three packs of iron heads off ebay and killed one doe. it shot right threw both lungs and she ran 175 yds or so and left a good blood trail. she went a little farther than most deer ive double lunged but over all i was pleased with their performance. h.h.

Greg- Baker's Camp has a target (it's just a small block-type target) specifically for broadheads, with ranges up to 20 yards.
I have yet to field test my Thunderheads, and if I switch to anything else it'll definately be a cut-on-contact head...

I am a Muzzy fan, but based on their reputation, I would not hesitate to shoot a critter with a Rocky mountain head...the fixed blade models, anyway. Thunderheads have good a good rep as well. I think anyone would be ok with any quality fixed blade head. I always like to hear what people experience with different products.

The last two years, I have killed bucks with Rocky Mtn. Premier broadheads. I got some Muzzy Phantoms this year, but I got the Premiers a LOT sharper, so I hunted with those. By the way, I picked up the three pack of these 110 gr. Premiers on clearance at Meijer for $2!
