With just a month to go till season opener will be busy over weekend removing my supplemental feed stations and mineral licks. Actually have been cutting back on feed (corn, protein/mineral mix) last month and have pretty much let deer clean out exposed mineral. I usually just scope out mineral sites with shovel , level out and cover with 4' by 4' piece plywood and put a cement block on wood.
These last 30 days will fly , also need to get cloths washed and hung outside, install some safety lines, bushhog some clover plots as well as some liming and fertilizing. Probably wouldn't hurt to do some scouting on oak tree's that have mast as well. Stay safe folks.
