How about if you knew he would look like this next season? .

Yes, most times. If I already had a doe in the freezer and it was late in season I might shot, but probably not. Now this year I would shot.

I'd have busted him in the first picture.

Depends on what weapon I am hunting with and what time of the season.

It's easy to sit here now and say let him pass. Perhaps not as easy to do in the real life situation. I mostly likely would take him in the first pic as I have never taken a buck.

I'd take him, no question. With traditional gear 1.5 and up is fair game for me now and 15yds is what I'm looking for.

Very excited to see what this guy looks like this year after passing on him at least 3 times last year...

I would be happy with the first buck or Arlowe's buck.

If I had a good shot, I'd take it either time!

That is the same buck and no, it wasn't me who passed him in the first picture.

Hard saying....tough to judge exactly what he is with just one picture but I know I've passed ones "bigger" antler wise or similar....all depend. I've grown to the point now I let my first instinct tell the story of whether I'm launching an arrow or not.

Did you all look close at his right beam in the second picture?
What do you see?

Oh I noticed it right away. Had a multi-beamed one around in 2014 that was young....disappeared from existence and no one knows what happened....sad really. Be a tremendously unique buck!

Very excited to see what this guy looks like this year after passing on him at least 3 times last year... That deer is dead because he got hit by some bunny butt buffer driving a Prius. :-)

Would I have shot him last season?
Probably not, but I certainly can't fault anyone who says they would have taken him...

Depends if I had already put a doe or two in the freezer. Tag soup tastes like common country air and I've had enough of it lately due to being picky. I view that fine buck as a "shooter" for most of us and enough sausage to last my family a good while. If I were already stocked up, he gets a pass. But, I certainly would not frown at anyone who decided to harvest him.
