I didn't have as many pics as I was getting but this is my first spring at this property with cams out and I haven't put any food out since beginning of April. I'm sure me not putting food out and where the babies are at has something to do with it. Yes, I feed them most of the year. I like to see them eat. It's like having guests over that you want to feed. I feed them to keep them from eating as much of my plot before it matures. I feed them to see what is in my area. It's fun to watch them all year, and then it's really exciting when a new one shows up. Wes, I really think I would feed them even if I didn't hunt them ...just like most birds. Some I want to eat. Yeah, even though I was feeding them the babies stayed away for months. I didn't think I had any, but eventually saw two. This week I'm going to get back on my feeding schedule. I only stopped putting food down because I was going to be turkey hunting. I haven't been able to get back on it because of the weather and doing other things. I do enjoy seeing trail cam pics. It's a whole different world out there in the woods and the discovery of such is what has drawn me in to obsession with wildlife and hunting.

It's like Christmas going home with that card excited as to what is on it. Yes, I stopped feeding them about a month before turkey and during the season. I hated to stop feeding them as I felt like they really needed it then, but I just tell myself this.

Lol I'm not the best in the patience department I want it now! Lol

With my two major projects this spring I have chased all the deer away. I'm hoping to be finished by the 4th of July so the deer (bucks groups) can settle back in my area in their late August breakup.
