No, not much pop. Solid family history of stones. I started them at the same time they hit my dad and uncles, 34yo. My grandparents both had them, but they couldnt remember when theirs started.

NO: Beer, NO: Red Meat (including Venison), NO: Colas of any kind No: Fish (especially shellfish) No: Salt & No: Sugar.....Hard diet to follow....& LIFE too short...... Happy St. Patrick's Day !

Yeah, I see that happening real soon...... LOL Those are for the uric acid type, mine are the calcium-oxylate type. Supposed to cut back on everything that is good anyway.

I passed a small piece 4 days after the initial pain started. That cut off the pain. The urine flow has still been inconsistent, and still passing sand like particles. Well today, the culprit showed face, 12 days after it started. Holy cow, a whopper!!!

I have never had one, was always curious about them but the more I get to thinking the less I was to be curled up on the bathroom floor crying. Hats off to everyone out there who has had one. You are a heck of a lot tougher than I am. I've heard women say that they are comparable to child birth if not worse, of course that is counting on the source also.
