Absolutely not. Maybe I'd be less opposed if those who shot deer of preserves didn't claim they "hunted" them.

No. Can the polls be linked to the main forums? Unless you click on it, you don't know its there. Or is it just me?

Leasing, outfitting, preserves.....
All have secured a place in 21st century deer hunting and while I'm not necessarily a fan of any of them, I'm not naive enough to think that it will revert to the days of knocking on Farmer Brown's door and securing free hunting.
Too much dollar value attached to antlers for that to happen......

The ethics of the concept is no worse than a put/take bird hunt. The slippery slope is the possibility of a disease outbreak spreading to wild deer.

YES No different ethically than a put & take bird hunt, pay pond fishing, running rabbits in a fenced enclosure, etc.

YES No different ethically than a put & take bird hunt, pay pond fishing, running rabbits in a fenced enclosure, etc. A lot different..... High fence has about a 99% success rate and you choose what male Deer your shooting and the Deer cannot exacape from Hunter! SMH

YES No different ethically than a put & take bird hunt, pay pond fishing, running rabbits in a fenced enclosure, etc. Last thing we want is a rabbit caught. But yes to everything else.

Doesn't mean I support it, doesn't mean I like it, but the courts have deemed this legal in the state of Indiana and arguing and debating the subject changes nothing.....

I support a guy's right to make a buck.
I have no interest in "supporting" a deer preserve by actually going to one.
I wouldn't mind participating in a put/take bird hunt of some kind.
Just my opinions, and I don't try to force them upon others that are engaged in legal pursuits.
