I didn't know that the number of guns/person has been decreasing for 20 years ...dang liberal babies.
I keep buying more for no other reason but to help get that number back up.

In there section on "super-owners" and the guns they need there is no mention of hunting or the different guns needed for different game.
Did they ever consider the people who own so many guns are the hunters?

17 is a good start and a LONG time ago. Heck I own guns I've never shot, just had to have for some reason or another. Never sell except for two Mossberg's.

My father had 56 when he passed 8 years ago, I dont have that many but I do have over 2500 knives.

Remember that guy who died and over a thousand guns were found on his property. I thought nothing about this other than it was great!

I foresee a furious argument with the wife over this. I'm under the national average by a few guns and I have my eye on just enough to make up the difference. This'll either push me over the edge and fill my safe, or onto the couch. Likely it'll be the couch.

Someone that collects certain guns can have a huge number just with variations of one model. I knew a guy that collected Govt 1911's that had just about all known makers and that was before everyone was making them.
If you can afford them I say go for it.
