I don't see anything listed for hunting these. I seen one here today and was wondering about them. I know grouse has been suspended. Don't think these are considered grouse, but I don't know.

Released bird that has somehow survived the foxes and yotes. I've shot a bunch at preserves but haven't eaten one yet, too hooked on the pheasant!

I think it would be fun just to do a put and take Chukar hunt only , No other bird .

Growing up in Central Indiana We had wild Pheasant and ZHungarian Partridges that were near chukar size those hankies were strange birds

I would use an I/C Choke with 7.5 shot . Then say chukar BOOM chukar BOOM , hen hen hen Chukar BOOM BOOM , Then say oh yea we are on a Put N Take hunt Hens are legal to shoot . Then clean the Chukar and stuff it with carrots slices , celery slices and your favorite seasonings bake them in the oven .
