Nothing but the rut gets them on their feet like cold and a couple inches of snow! Unfortunately I have my company Christmas party tomorrow so I think I've got to sit it out.

If you stumble across yellow snow resist the temptation to eat it.

We got nothing down here in the south west. I don't like the cold but a little snow makes tracking easy.

I'm hoping for a snowless winter down here south of Indy. It was two or three years ago that we had zero accumulation for the entire winter. I hate the stuff, even though I have two 4X4's. As for deer hunting, a fresh snow where I'm at seems to lay them up during shooting hours for a day or so.

Solid 6-7" in LaPorte county in the NW so far. Saying another 6" or so with 20mph wind today, causing blowing and drifting! Yay!!!

Snow removal done at the house this morning, I'm hoping to get out if the roads get cleared up. I live on SR2 about a mile or 2 past Walmart if your headed east, and it's a bit messy looking out there. Not sure if the Honda Accord will do well on the country roads to my spot.

Whereabouts do u hunt m4? Lawrence County, which is about 75 miles south of Indy. We seldom get any snow accumulation before January around here, which is fine by me. I hate the stuff from an everyday life perspective more than from a hunting one. I have no problems getting around in it, but it's still a hassle. I'd take it over cold temperatures (which I despise) any day, but they sort of go hand in hand. Lol!
