I like all the different baseball hats they offer, but, wearing one without owning a hoyt bow seems wrong to me.

I've got an AR made by PSE. I love it. Compares to Bowtech and Mathews but less expensive. I bought it new on Ebay for $425 (retail is $599). Good luck!

I shot the new 2006 Browning Illusion last week and talk about one smooth drawing, sweet shooting, no vibration, very quiet and fast bow. This bow only had the factory installed string chubs and string suppressors on it no other sound and vibration dampening stuff. The shop only had a whisker biscuit and string loop on it. To shot a stripped down bow and feel no vibration and that quiet is utterly amazing.

I have been a big hoyt fan for many years. I have heard all the up roar on the bowtech so I picked one up at the deer and turkey expo. Sorry, the risor just didnt feel good. Not knocking the speed, $ or anything. What ever feels good in your hand and is up to your standards on speed go with it.

Well, I own a Pittsburgh Steelers hat but I don't own them. I say wear what makes you happy. Don't worry about whether you own a bow or not. Now, if you're looking for a sweet shooting bow, I'd recommend the Hoyt Trykon or Mathews Switchback XT. To me there is no comparison between other bows and those 2. I do have a friend who just bought a BowTech Allegiance and then sold it right away. It was fast but he had a hard time shooting it consistently. The most important thing in selecting a bow is one that you can shoot with confidence and you're checkbook can afford.

I don't really see how anyone can compare the Hoyt Trykon to the Mathews or a Bowtech!! That thing is a big piece of crap in my book. BOWTECH #1, Mathews #2. Do yourself a favor and shoot the new Tribute from Bowtech!!!!

I just priced a Hoyt Trykon. I think I'll stick with my over priced Mathews.

If opinionated crap like this is what you want then head over the ArcheryTalk.com.
If you want a new bow, shoot them all. Every one you like. Then pick one. Dont listen to ANYONE else because bow opinions are like a$$holes. Everyones got one and they usually stink.
Oh..ps
Getting a Hoyt to match your hat.....not a good reason ;D

I do like opinions. Why else ask? I visit Archery Talk for others opinions too. It is what makes forums useful. If we were to only speak in terms of facts, not much would be said I'm afraid. I still love those Hoyt hats. They shore is purdy, heehee!

Hoosier, Don't go with a bow for thier hat. EVEN THOUGH Hoyt has the finest hats and bows there are in MY opinion....but then you know how opinions are Shoot different bows and see what feels right to you, what grip feels comfortable in your hand, draw cycle, release, consider everything. When I finally got to shoot the many different bows out today, I had to get rid of that switchback and trade it for an Ultratec. Good Luck! Fuzzy hoyt
