i have to agree. They are good business people that know how to make $$$. Good for them but if you hunted public draws before and during the show you could see the impact they created.
But just think how many duck stamps phil and crew were indirectly responsible for!

I tried to watch this show two times. Guess that I just don't get it.
My son-in-law is a died-in-the-wool fan.

Its entertainment, as long as they can sell $400.00 coolers and whatever else they hawked then shows stay on the air, when that slips then adiĆ³s. Great business people, made a fortune and still will in appearances. Belive they still have the Buck Commander show so they won't be far away from your TV set.

The first couple season it aired was pretty good I thought, but the last few seasons it was getting pretty hard to watch. I always thought that Phil could care less if he was on the show or not. I got his book for Christmas a few years ago. He was a hell raiser back in his younger days and is actually lucky to be alive and to still have his wife Miss Kay. They had a rocky marriage in the beginning. One thing that I did admire was they believed in God and family and wasn't afraid to show these values regardless of what the general public thought. Phil hasn't let, or at least he doesn't show it, the fact that he is a very wealthy man. The boys on the other hand all have very nice mansion to live in when Phil still is living in the house he always had

There are a lot worse shows on TV then Duck Dynasty. It has provided my family with hours and hours of entertainment. I think in some ways it has brought more hunters to the sport. People who may not have been interested if it weren't for these knuckleheads! Although I don't watch the show regularly, I will miss it.

There were obviously some good and bad parts of it, and I think at the beginning it was original and pretty good. But like everyone else it got pretty hard to watch. One thing I won't miss about it was the platform they had to share their testimonies on. That arguably was the best part and I loved reading Phil's book as well... I'll definitely miss the show and the platform on cable tv that they directly had.

The first time I saw a Robertson on television he was crushing the skull, with his teeth, of a still alive duck he had just shot down.
I liked that guy. Original. Raw.
That guy was buried by whatever it was this most recent show was.
Made em a lot of money though and I loves me some money....

Yep, The first time I seen them was their duck hunting show on the outdoor channel. I thought they were a death metal rock band that enjoyed hunting with their long hair and blackened faces.

Compared to at least 70% of the crap on TV today I'll take duck dynasty all day long. I don't care to keep up with the Kardashians or know what snookie is doing. Or walk with the dead or fantasize about being in a biker gang or a crystal meth cooking school teacher. My kids could watch duck Dynasty with me and so could my grandma.

Since you asked ....They act like dumb hillbillys and look like bums with those nasty beards. I'll take guys like; Michael Waddell, Nick Mundt, Chipper Jones, Mark Kayser, Steven Rennell, Will Primis, etc to represent the hunting community any day rather than those jokers.

So guys that grow big beards look like bums. I bet there are quite a few of us on this site. I don't see anything wrong with them. Seem like a great family to me and I would gladly spend a day hunting with them.
