Have had several good encounter's with 120 and a few 130 class bucks but had a couple 150-160 class bucks visiting our farm. This morning one finally made a mistake. Around 8:00 I was watching a couple small bucks spare then feed , then spare again when I caught some movement off to my left. MASS and 10 plus inch tines were standing 25 yards away. Shouldered my gun and shot. Buck ran 40 yards and stopped. Re chambered and fire again. Runs off into thick cover
. Find small amount of blood so backout and call friend whom has a bloodhound. Meets me at lunch and we pick up trail. Hank The Bloodhound made quick work of the recovery. Buck went about 125 yards in some thick stuff. Woody will post the pic, but final tally 12 pts and good mass. Solid mid 150's Switzerland County buck. Feeling thankful. Lotta time put on the stand this season.
