I wonder what meat they are using, whitetail, Elk or? While part of me wishes that this was going to be available here locally, the rest of me says they will cook it like beef and it will be shoe leather and lousy.

Where are they getting the venison from? I know a deer but who is selling venison in mass quantities?

They will probably import it from New Zealand.. Lost of deer farms down there..
I have mixed emotions on this.
A non-hunter orders some on a whim and says," Wow, this is pretty good. I think I'll take up hunting".
Flip side - We have too many deer farms now..

I heard one of the Arby's in Tennessee that was selling these sold out their entire supply in just 6 hours.

Just my opinion, I have zero interest in this promotion. Fast food sucks for your health regardless of it contents. Umm, and my freezer still has 40 lbs of last year's buck, so easy for me to say.......

I'm not sure how I feel about the Arby's venison burger thing. On the one hand, venison is totally underrated. On the other hand, how can fast food venison possibly be good? I'm not the kind to universally knock chain restaurants (I have some favorites), but think of the McRib compared to its homemade equivalent.
