On some of the Facebook post from various groups opposing the Right to Hunt and Fish, bTB was found in Spencer County from a high fence hunting facility. It's amazing how people will spew anything that comes to mind to try to get people on their side.
There are special check station all over the place down here to try to make it easier for hunters to get to a check station to have the testing done. Hopefully they get double their needed test subjects. I would honestly rather wipe out the herd in that area than have bTB spread.
I have been given three places to hunt, one in Fayette County and two in Franklin County to try to do my part. Have LTL, a couple long range solutions, and will travel. Now I just need the time and the deer to cooperate.

Can someone clarify for me, I have read this in detail but have a question. If you harvest a doe/buck and have it tested do you get the meat from it if positive? I understand they will give you an extra buck tag if you have a 2yr old or older buck tested. Just trying to understand if I get the meat either way. I am in dearborn county so this could apply to me

There is an check station set up for tb at orshelens (behind post office Lawrenceburg) parking lot. They sit out there under the canopy checking deer. You can ask them for clarification.

Testing results are not instant. As far as I understand, you keep the deer minus the test sample, meat is yours.

I was talking to a friend who has ties to franklin county and he said they found another doe the other day. Can anyone verify this? Found it the other day, or the test results came back the other day? The deer that started all of this in August when her test results came back was shot in May, so things are a bit slow moving.
