Was scouting today and checked out an area in years passed that I tend to always bump some does walking in or out to a deeper public spot. Went to the spot that's maybe a 50yd circle of open area I typically see them and have never seen the size of droppings or so many. Talking like tennis ball size clumps of pellets scattered all over it, some were more like a horse clump(no pellets)... Anyways, is there anything to learn from this? Is this more based on the diet or can it in any way help determine sex, size, etc of the deer?

It's definitely from a Sasquatch.
Just kidding, the clumps mean that they've been feeding on grass or clover. The pellets everybody is used to seeing mean they've been feeding on browse, acorns, corn, ect. If you are seeing a bunch of lumpy crap (literally) check out your foodplots, they are probably feeding there pretty heavy or eating a lot of grass.
If it's by private land would guess there's a food plot near by.

Individual pellets means drier food, like browse, clumps are wetter food, grass, etc.
