We've had him a week; going well. He is a very friendly dog That's great news. I would make him earn his keep by making a deer tracker out of him. Being the breed he is I bet he would make a fine deer recovery dog if you can keep him from running coons and keep CORN dogs away from him LOL. Never thought I would say that about a coon dog. Yeah, too bad we didn't have him when we ran down JDUB's buck this season, he went 80-90yds so it would have been a good training moment. We both want 1 doe now so if we get the chance I'm going to put him on it. I need to look into how to go about it too! As for the corn dogs - let's just say he is VERY food motivated!
